Abstract
Pleomorphic adenoma is very rare in the orbital tumors but takes a large proportion of the la rimal gland tumors. It is characterized by variable epithelial elements and mesodermal tissues histopatholo ¢¥cally.
Recentely we experienced 2 cases of pleomorphic adenoma which caused a slowly growing pa¢¥nless palpable mass in the upper eyelid, exophthalmos, ptosis and limitation of global movement in 34-ye r-old man and 58-year old woman.
The tumor was removed -successfully through the lateral orbitotomy and pathologic findings were pleomorphic adenoma in lacrimal gland without evidence of malignancy. Final cosmetic results and global movement are satisfactory.
